Jordyn Leah Virgil, Coming Soon!

My little sister will soon have an adorable baby girl in her arms! I'm so excited to meet this little sassy baby girl :) I remember meeting Jennifer, my little sister, for the first time at our Grandma's house when our mother came home from the hospital and I was so excited that I cried out of joy! I was only 7 years old but felt so much love toward this little girl. I can't imagine how I'll react holding her daughter in my arms! Gosh, I'm tearing up even now! I'm SO happy for my sister and my brother...Congrats again Virgil's! We love all three of you SO much :)

Smile Moment

These girls are silly, feisty, dramatic, fun, kissable, huggable, lovable, bff's, and everything under the sun (no pun intended).

Happy Friday! Have a great weekend!

Memorial Day/80s Birthday Party

For my older sister's birthday party, we were told to dress up in our finest 80's gear. It's no problem for me, since I love the 80s! The music was great! And hello, Flashdance! Ok, a lot of things about the 80s are hilarious (teased up hair, neon tights, etc), but still, I love it.

 The lovebirds.
After changing, and dressing back into normal clothes, I fancied my gold, saltwater sandals. I love these sandals. They're so comfortable and cute. Can I sleep in these?
Endless rounds of horse shoe games.

All the guys decided to get competitive and play a game that PJ's never played but was coming out on top...That's my man! ;)
And the little cousins loved running around my sister's new house, with a humongous backyard, that once housed horses! These hammocks are dreamy and so relaxing. If God ever blesses us with a backyard, I'd like to think we'd invest in one of these, asap!

I love her!

On thursday Jennifer and I had a little sister date and it was a blessing! We had dinner and talked about God and how he gives us the grace to fight sin in our lives. After dinner we headed over to Anthropologie for a DIY workshop with DesignLoveFest blogger and Ban.do co-founder. Jennifer seemed shy to craft something up, but she did... She was just sizing things up ;) It was fun and the workshop sparked idea's to incorporate in our home.

I love Jennifer (Amylou). It's been fun planning for her wedding. Stressful, because it's coming up soon, but still fun. I can't believe she's gonna soon be married and have (Lord willing), little adorable black kids, with afros! I'm gonna hate that her kids are gonna be so darn cute :) May the Lord grant her grace to put on her new role, as a wife. Lord, you are so kind in giving me a sister like Amylou.

Our Girl Is Grown Up!

Last night was our family Thanksgiving dinner. It was scheduled late for various reasons. Although late, but this dinner was special because we celebrated Kenedy's 4th birthday AND our little sister Jennifer (Amy) was popped the BIG question! She totally said YES... through her joyful tears :)

BFFs! Kenedy wearing our gift to her :)
THEN........
Looking at the "video" our family wanted to see. It was a Kenedy' video, then it cut to Justin talking, getting on one knee, and asking her to marry him!
Justin on his knee, asking her to marry him! AWHHHHHH! I was in tears!

We're SO excited and can't believe she's all grown up! 2012 is gonna be grand :)
