Thrift Store Jam

So, this song has a few expletives but I love the concept and it's LOL funny. Maybe there's a kid friendly version.

Be careful listening, but if you can, enjoy :)

My Small Eclectic Kitchen

Calendar months in a frame
 Humming birds on a stick
Photo-booth pictures of me and my lovely, in a glass-free frame
Hanging fruit and veggie baskets. I need to go to the grocery store!

My mouth almost dropped when I saw this Dutch wooden clog at the thrift store! All for 98 cents :)

Thrifty Finds

It's been awhile since I've updated Thrifty Finds! But booooy, have I found some treasures!

Here's a pair of Italians, I really wish I could parade around town, but my feet are too big. They're up for grabs at my shop.

Rose Bowl Virgin

BUT not anymore :) I've heard, seen, read so many things regarding the infamous Rose Bowl Flea Market that occurs the 2nd Sunday of every month. I've had the itch to go but really, it's just unrealistic for me, since Sunday is PJ's heaviest work day and with so many things going on from our home after CrossView, it makes it almost impossible to attend. SO how did I manage to find a little Sunday time? Well, my Lovely hubby let me go :) Well.... it was for a one time, side job I picked up (by God's grace), that hopefully I'd like to post about when the logistics are handled. Anyways, here are a few sights...

It was fun to finally see what all the fuss was about, but I hardly think I'll be back anytime soon. And honestly, I don't feel like I'll be completely missing out, I really do prefer thrift stores, the prices are better and I feel its more of a hunt, at least I think so.

Thrifty Finds

Got this little treasure in Prescott, Arizona.  While visiting there, the Nepo's took us to their downtown antique shops.  I first saw a pretty turquoise typewriter (exactly the same) for $40, the next day, I found this typewriter at the Thrift store for $6.  Whatta steal!

A few weeks later, I got another typewriter treasure!  I'll share another time.

Thrifty-Finds

An unexpected find on one of my treasure hunts.  This pretty lady (she remind me of "Gone With the Wind") was only 0.95!  What a steal.

I'd love to hold a giveaway one day (for the two who read my blog :) with a thrifty find that I don't need but love.  That would be so fun.

Thrifty Finds (Reading is Fun)

Books are just great and you can't have too many.  I periodically go through my kids toy boxes and clean it up, throw away nonsense, and give away excess, but I rarely, if ever, give away or get rid of books!

"Cinderella" and "Little Red Riding Hood" I bought in Seattle, and "Spelling Goals" was given to us by my sassy friend from her excursion down south (thank you so! :)

Rain,
Come soon so we can cuddle up on our couch, read, and hear your droplets.

Love,
Tibayans
